Terex Construction Americas has recognized Mic-À –Nic Inc. in Quebec, Canada, as a Top Performing Distributor in the first half of 2011. Mic-À –Nic was selected for its accomplishments as a full-line Terex® compact equipment distributor with the most unit sales and year-over-year growth within the January-June 2011 period.
“It is an absolute honor to work with a dedicated distributor like Mic-À -Nic,” says Dean Barley, general manager, Terex Construction Americas. “Their business is built on a passion for providing superior customer service and a drive to support their customers’ every need. Throughout the years, they have come to rely on Terex products and have worked to establish a reputation as the number one service and support distributor in Canada.”
Founded in 1994 as a service shop, Mic-À –Nic took on the Terex line in 2005 and expanded their operations to become a sales and service distributor. Terex company officials presented Mychel Bossé, president, and Nicolas Bossé, director of service, of Mic-À -Nic with the award in a ceremony at the Terex facility in Southaven, Miss., on October 19.
“I would like to thank Terex on behalf of everyone in our organization for recognizing us with this award,” says Mychel Bossé. “Since we started working with Terex, we have been impressed with the way the company does business. They stand behind their product, and their product and sales teams work with us on finding solutions to our customers’ unique situations. This dedication to the relationship matches our own business philosophies, which include focusing on providing the best service possible to our customers and respecting their needs.”
“The level of attention and importance that Mic-À -Nic places on customer service significantly contributed to their status as a Terex Top Performing Sales Distributor,” says Gregg Warfel, divisional sales manager, Compact Equipment, Terex Construction Americas. “Customer service is the number one priority throughout the entire Mic-À –Nic organization,” continues Warfel, “from management and the sales team to the receptionists, mechanics and delivery drivers, everyone is focused on providing the best customer service experience possible.”
Ken Doan, sales leader, Compact Equipment, Terex Construction Americas, concurs, “Successful distributors like Mic-À –Nic not only need to provide the products the market wants, but they must also be able to support and service their customer base — that is the key to success. Mic-À –Nic built their company on a solid foundation of outstanding service, support after the sale and respect.”
Capitalizing on the two companies’ similar business philosophies, Mark Luttmann, sales operations manager, Terex Construction Americas, looks forward to growing the relationship between Terex and Mic-À –Nic. “Mic-À –Nic offers customers the complete package: Products, parts, service and support — everything they need in a distributor. That’s a huge competitive advantage,” says Luttmann. “In the future, we hope to increase Mic-À –Nic’s product offering to include more lines of Terex equipment in the future, which will enable both businesses to grow and expand in the Canadian market.”
Bossé concurs with Luttmann, “With Terex’s focus on providing quality products and their commitment to support our business, we look forward to exploring new opportunities with them in the future.”
